I need my curser to help me out

I just know if this curser I seem to stare at all day would blink to the rhythm of my i-tunes song that is blasting, I would get much more work done.

To even increase my productivity and creativity further this would help;

  • clap screen to different faint pantone background colours.
  • threaten me gangster style if i have not typed in over 5 minutes.
  • I would be even more eager to work if my curser was a mini coloured Louis Vuitton purse.
  • squeezing my eyes really tight reacted in the next perfect word to type.
  • a screen wiper freshened my screen by cleaning all the cigarette smoke off after every 3 cigarettes.
  • in a non-computer sounding voice, rather realistic male voice once every half hour told me how gorgeous and talented I was.
  • spell check actually worked.
  • my office chair had bluetooth to my mac and when I try to stand up my mac would say “no more munchies and wine.”
  • a soothing aroma, in a timely matter oozed gently from under my keys when it felt fit.
  • touching my screen with 2 fingers gave me a replacement of 3 minute mirror, not revealing my writing hairstyle.
  • large red WARNING letters flash when I write something stupid [I heard that]
  • when I get a reflection of myself from my screen, it would have really big boobies!
  • that a replica of my hand would come out of my camera hole and give me a slap when I write blogs to write blogs.

Any others?

Have a great Day!!!!!

eBook Authors Anonymous, kinda

I would like to venture off here and suggest an Authors eLetter.  This newsletter would only be or could only be created by pooling our resources in a professional, attractive and informative way.  I see it mailed out on every Tuesday  first thing in the morning.

Here’s how it could work; First we are not spamming rather emailing a defined list of potential readers by featuring a cover to our eBook and a blurb with where they can find it.  I believe the price is also important.  The recipients are those readers emails you supply me [never to be shared] and one mailing on Tuesdays would go out.

NOT WITHOUT AUTHORS FIRST!

I am working on the graphics and it’s header would be eBooks weekly eLetter.  Clearly this has to be tasteful and I would gather your information by email.  The eLetter would also be posted here-which we could use as a trial basis for our first run.  If there was to be any feedback via email, I would ensure you would receive it.  I think it could only build to a great informative means of kindly promoting and growth of a good database.

Also featuring a different author on cover each week.

If you think this is way to overdone or to intrusive please let me know, I’m posting today for your opinions and can also be contacted directly at www.kimberlyswritings@gmail.com

Thanks, looking forward to your feedback.

Validation for writers doubt

Hello,

I refuse to stay in this place, we all have moments of feeling exhausted from very hard work and needing some validation in return.

That validation could tell me I touched someone, I wrote a good Novel, I am unique, most of all to remember I am a writer.

I was just thinking of a few things that can turn this slump into a self animated solution.

Writing is such a lonely job, but…………………….

  1. I absolutely need to remind myself I love it, truly can’t imagine my life without it.
  2. if I write for myself first, I can drop business and success expectations that weigh heavy on my mind.
  3. Doubt– I have to remember with any project so dear to ones heart and does creatively take all you have, doubt is normal.  Give myself permission to have doubt then remember points 1 and 2 and rid of doubt.
  4. Successful writers write
  5. I have to remember to stop predicting if my Novel is well received and that sales are no indication of this.
  6. Stop feeling sorry for myself by not understanding where my novel will go.  I may never know.
  7. Writers block is part of the craft.  In fact it is during these black outs I write the most-about nothing-then suddenly I find I am writing and the block lifts.
  8. Obsessive I am and have spread myself to thin by the number of writing sites I write for.  I must force myself to let many of them stand still while I pick my favourite three and work with those.
  9. As hard as it is for me I want to start talking with other writers share knowledge and get to know writers to talk with in general.
  10. Lastly, I must take breaks starting tomorrow :o) as I never do.  Walk away from the computer and do something not related to writing, including thinking about it.

Here’s hoping…………………

really hoping

Thank you

How to become a writer

Kid Rock – Roll On (Full Version) (Video)

How to become a writer has one critical step in doing so.  How to remain a writer has certain criteria at least that I must live by, to sustain being a writer.

http://hubpages.com/embed/video.php?vid=553&w=640

Firstly I was taught this and it changed my life.  Just as I loved writing my whole life I easily labelled myself as a broadcast producer for Advertising given my full time career.  Not that I didn’t love it just inside I dreamt of being a writer.  Another producer was concerned and kind enough to ask me what is on my mind.  I expressed my wish to be a writer.

She told me to repeat after me “I Kmberly Gray am a writer”  Three times.  She paused and asked me if I believed it.  I responded ‘absolutely’  Guess what she said, “your a writer, now take pride in your dream and never let anyone tell you otherwise.”  I asked her what to do next, feeling vulnerable and she simply said “that’s the beauty of being a writer.  What happens next is up to you.”

So there I was supposedly a writer, and as you know looking into a black hole wondering your worth the experience or good enough to share it.  Regardless, I was a writer.

I quickly and fearlessly learned how to sustain a writers career; accept being broke, cherish the writing community that is so supportive and apparently every moment possible, write,  YAHOO!
